About Us...

After a fulfilling 20-year career in IT, I decided to explore new interests, becoming a certified yoga teacher and working as a part-time senior caregiver.

In my role as a caregiver, I encountered many seniors who faced challenges in navigating technology, often lacking the time or patience from others to receive the assistance they needed.

While my primary responsibilities involved tasks such as laundry, grooming, meal preparation, housekeeping, and running errands, I soon realized how empowering it was for my clients when I guided them in using their smartphones for appointment scheduling and medication management.

The joy they experienced from learning something new—especially when it restored autonomy over aspects of their daily lives that they felt were slipping away—was incredibly rewarding for both them and me.

After relocating from Montreal to a small rural town in Eastern Ontario with the desire to serve an aging community, I began assisting neighbours with troubleshooting software and application issues on their devices. After several successful interactions, a neighbour suggested that I consider starting a business focused on helping seniors with technology. This idea sparked the creation of Kind Connect Tech.
